This pattern provides health and wellness benefits associated with access to water, including reduced stress, lower heart rate and blood pressure, increased sense of calm, positive emotional responsiveness, improved concentration, perception and memory. (Interface, 2020).

Water projections and images are often a viable solution for water sensitive sites, even active presence through responsible design educates users about water scarcity issues.

Some of the common characteristics of this pattern are:

1. Fluency.

2. Accessibility.

3. The feeling of power.

The goal is to harness the multisensory attributes of water to enhance the way a place is experienced in a way that is relaxing, induces contemplation, improves mood, and provides recovery from cognitive fatigue.(Browning, 2014) .

Some of the considerations that allow optimizing the presence of water are:

• Give priority to multi-sensory experiences to achieve greater benefits.

• Give priority to natural movement.

• Water installations can consume large amounts of water and energy, so they should be used sparingly, especially in places with little access to water.

Some examples of this pattern are:

1. Aquariums.

2. Water walls.

3. Ocean life paintings

4. The color blue.
